You will reap the benefits of massage if it becomes a regular part of your life. My goal is for us to work together to take better care of your health, long-term. Some people come bi-weekly, some monthly...intentional
ritual maintenance.
I customize each massage to benefit the clients particular muscular needs. I incorporate Swedish relaxation massage with deep tissue, sports, and myofascial release techniques. Through dialog, passive & active stretching, chair & table massage I aim to decrease pain and muscular constrictions in the body while increasing range of motion. Often times, I incorporate reflexology, energy work, and sound therapy into my massage sessions.

It’s in your true nature to be healthy and balanced. Your body is constantly moving toward homeostasis – that is, health & well being. So why do we become ill, have trouble sleeping, or even thinking, suffer pain and disease? Illness, disease, and lack of well being are signs of an imbalance of energies. There is much you yourself can do to maintain good health and well being – healthy eating, regular exercise, some sort of practice to relieve tension & stress, adequate rest....
Sometimes we need help in the healing process. Remember we’re entering into a partnership. As a practitioner I’m simply a catalyst for your own inherent tendency to be whole. The ultimate process of healing is your own. Massage is a tool to help heal. Whether it's stress, sport, illness, or simply to pamper yourself, the benefits of massage can be life changing. I would be honored to take that journey with you

Fascia (connective tissue) surrounds muscles, tendons, and joints and can also help with functional movement. Layers can thicken due to trauma, inflammation, overuse, injury or medical procedure. The fascia thickening can develop myofascial tightness causing pain, posture imbalances, and decreased range of motion. Myofascial release massage is an effective, therapeutic technique that involves applying sustained pressure to stretch and lengthen the fascia. It breaks down adhesions between the tissues, softens and re-aligns, freeing up muscles.. which allows easier & more effective movement: reducing chronic pain, increasing strength, improving flexibility, posture, athletic performance & quality of life.

There are certainly numerous physical benefits of massage, such as lengthening and softening tissues, working out “knots”, releasing soft tissue restrictions, etc. But one of the most beneficial effects of massage is how it can help calm, stimulate and rebalance your nervous system. Massage enourages the release of endorphins such as serotonin and dopamine through stimulating the autonomic nervous system. An increase in the levels of endorphins can leave the individual feeling a reduction in pain and an increase in relaxation & calmness. Massage can reduce feelings of stress helping to create inner peace & well being.
Energy work encompasses a wide range of techniques and practices. It is rooted in the principle that the body is bioenergetic and seeks to maintain balance. Emotions and stress can cause blockages in our systems, which can manifest as pain & illness in our physical body or as mental/emotional upsets & tension. Through energy work, blockages can be released from your meridians, chakras, & aura so your mind, body, & spirit can come into alignment. Chakras are energy centers: the intersection between a bundle of nerves (nerve- electrical: thought) and an endocrine gland (hormone center- chemical: emotion/feeling) They are communication centers in the body. Trauma effects and informs our nervous and hormonal system. Energy is fuel and information... Energy clearing releases “the stories”, clears the debris, & shifts the scripting. When in harmony (bring nervous system & hormonal centers into balance) we open as recieving vessels for experience.. so we can have a new experience of LIFE right NOW! The world becomes MAGICAL luminous nature
What is Guided Energy Medicine ?
We are energetic beings, we all have a life force within us, the Chinese called it chi, the yogis, Prana. In fact, most of the world's ancient cultures have an equivalent word to describe the intangible vital energy. In Japan it's known as Ki and Native Americans refer to the life force as the Great Spirit. Guided energy medicine is a hands off approach that clears stagnant energy and emotional debris caught in the energy body or auric field. Creating a deep connection to source energy, guided energy medicine helps to bring you into better alignment both grounding & uplifting you simultaneously. In my practice, you lay fully clothed on the heated massage table, I say a silent prayer to open the space, and play 3-5 songs while clearing the chakras, or energy centers of the body. Many people report an expansive feeling. Many have visualizations or images present, some see colors, hear sounds, or have physical sensations in their bodies. After we are complete, I let you know and invite you to share of your experience. I write down whatever is said and then give you the paper so you can be completely candid and free and can refer back later to your own experience. Guided energy medicine is similar, but different than Reiki. Many clients have come out with profound realizations. Others have come back later with elaborate works of art inspired by their sessions. Many feel peaceful and at ease after an alignment session, finding clarity and connection.
Reflexology is based on the theory that our entire body, including organs, glands, and body parts have corresponding reflex points located on the feet, hands, and ears. If pressure is applied to these points it will have an effect on other parts of the body by releasing blockages around the corresponding body anatomy and can create homeostasis (balance) in the entire body.
Sound is the vibrational energy moving through matter. Health can be defined as being of sound body, mind, and spirit. This means the body, mind, and spirit are resonating harmoniously to their highest potential. Sound affects us in many different ways as we experience life daily. Listening to music can move us on an emotional level whereas other sounds like sirens or fire alarms can degrade our energy or put our nervous system on full alert. Not only do we hear audible sounds but we can also experience sound vibration. Experiencing the frequency shift in the body from tuning forks or singing crystal bowls gives understanding of the powerful impact sound has on our bodies and in our lives. Sound effects matter. Sound therapy is an ancient cultural practice & is related to the oldest methods of healing. Vibrational frequency increases energy flow in the body, which improves circulation, removes blocked energy, and is highly beneficial to the nervous system. It stimulates the vagus nerve, balances the bodies energies, calms inflammation, lowers heart rate, lowers blood pressure, relaxes muscles and relaxes you ! It can provide an alternative treatment for conditions such as anxiety, PTSD, and sleep disorders
